சென்னை: ஒரே வீட்டில் இரண்டு செல்லப்பிராணிகள் இருந்தால் அவர்கள் behavior-ஐ manage பண்ணுவது சில நேரங்களில் tough ஆகிவிடும். Training timeல confusion அதிகமாகி owners-க்கும் pets-க்கும் stress ஏற்பட வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது என்று கால்நடை நல நிபுணர்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.
Experts கூறுவதாவது, இரண்டு pets-ஐ ஒரே நேரத்தில் train பண்ணும் போது first rule clear command. ஒரே command-ஐ ஒரே tone-ல் repeat பண்ணினால் அவர்கள் quick-ஆக புரிந்து கொள்வார்கள். Name-calling-ம் important — “Sit, Bruno” “Stay, Snow” போன்ற தனிப்பட்ட instructions confusion குறைக்க உதவும்.
Reward timing-ம் மிக முக்கியம். எந்த pet correct action follow பண்ணுகிறதோ அதற்கு உடனே treat or praise கொடுக்க வேண்டும். Wrong timing அல்லது இரண்டு பேருக்கும் ஒத்த reward கொடுத்தால் behavior differentiate பண்ண முடியாது என veterinary trainers கூறுகின்றனர்.
Dominance issues avoid பண்ண, initially separate training sessions கொடுத்த பிறகு மட்டுமே combined training செய்ய வேண்டும் என நிபுணர்கள் பரிந்துரைக்கின்றனர். Competitive behavior அதிகமாகும் period-ல் joint sessions short duration-ஆக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
Pet-கள் boredom-ல் naughty ஆகும். Favourite toys, chew items அல்லது clicker training methods smart-ஆக use பண்ணினால் focus long-ஆக இருக்கும். Eye contact maintain பண்ணுவதால் bond improve பண்ண முடியும் என்று நிபுணர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.

Temperament difference இருக்கும் இடங்களில் ஒன்று fast learner and மற்றொன்று slow learner ஆகலாம். இந்த situation-ல் patience தான் key என்று trainers கூறுகின்றனர். Punishment avoid பண்ணி positive motivation மட்டுமே follow செய்ய வேண்டும்.
Pet-களின் bonding-ஐ disturb செய்யாமல் gradual progress பண்ணினாலே teamwork improve ஆகும். Home environment calm-ஆக இருந்தால் success rate அதிகம் என்று நிபுணர்கள் தெரிவித்தனர்.
