Project Information

The JRF will work under the CSIR-funded project focusing on:
• Patho-genomics of locally isolated canine distemper virus
• Characterization and molecular analysis

Job Responsibilities

According to the official notification, the JRF will handle:
• Cell culture and molecular laboratory work
• Collection of specimens from suspected animals in and around Chennai
• Maintenance of results in both digital and physical formats
• Monitoring consumables and assisting in procurement files
• Helping the PI in preparation of project-related reports

Essential Qualification

Candidates must have:
• BS 4-year programme / BPharm / MBBS / BVSc / Integrated BS-MS / MSc / BE / BTech
• Minimum 55% marks
NET or GATE qualification is mandatory

• Cell culture and virus propagation
• Viral passaging and MOI standardization
